What you agree to by using this site

By using hostel.com.lk you agree that the directory is provided "as is" with no warranty of accuracy or fitness for any purpose. We do not verify the quality, safety, legality, or legitimacy of listed hostels. Travellers contact and visit hostels at their own risk. We are not a party to any booking, payment, or stay arrangement between you and a listed hostel.

What you agree to by submitting a listing

By submitting a listing you confirm that: (1) you are authorised by the hostel owner to list the property, (2) the information you provide is accurate and current, (3) you accept that listings are subject to admin moderation and may be edited, suspended, or removed without notice if they violate these terms or appear to be spam, fraudulent, or abusive, and (4) you grant hostel.com.lk permission to display the submitted information publicly on the directory and through the directory's sitemap, RSS feed, and AI-readable index files (llms.txt).

Prohibited content

Spam, duplicate, fraudulent, or misleading listings will be removed and the submitter may be permanently blocked. Listings for properties that are not hostels or backpacker accommodation (e.g. five-star resorts, holiday rentals, residential properties) will be removed. Any listing for an illegal business will be removed and reported to authorities.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, hostel.com.lk and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the directory, your stay at any listed hostel, or any communication or transaction with any listed hostel.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the directory after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
